Dungeons are the core PvE challenge in Calamity, offering progression, loot, and Valor Points. Each dungeon difficulty level presents a series of increasingly tough encounters designed to test your build, skill, and strategy.

Dungeon Difficulties

One Dungeon Difficulty consists of 8 consecutive stages followed by a boss fight on the 9th stage.

Completing the boss stage unlocks the next difficulty level.

As you advance through difficulty tiers:

  • 🧟 Enemies become stronger and more dangerous

  • 💎 Better gear drops with higher stat rolls

  • 🧠 Some enemies gain new special abilities, introducing more strategic and reactive combat

Dungeon Modes

Calamity features multiple dungeon formats, each with a unique gameplay experience and loot structure:

  • Standard Dungeon

    • 5 rooms total

    • Rooms 1–4: mix of regular and elite mobs

    • Room 5: tougher elites with improved loot chances

  • Trial of Strength

    • Fewer enemies, but all are strong elites

    • Spawned in waves

    • Each successive wave increases loot drop chances

  • Trial of Endurance

    • Massive waves of weaker mobs

    • Tests crowd control and survivability

    • Later waves provide better drops

  • Boss Fight

    • One-room, high-risk, high-reward encounter

    • Defeating a boss for the first time on each difficulty tier grants significantly better loot

Each mode delivers a distinct PvE challenge and varying drop rates, letting players tailor their farming strategy based on their class, build, and goals.

Party Play

You can form a party of up to three players to run dungeons together.

When playing in a group:

  • Enemy count and difficulty scale based on party size

  • Loot and mob stats are adjusted to maintain balanced challenge and reward, ensuring party play feels equal to solo runs
