In Calamity, itemization is key to your character's development and strategy. Items in the game are categorized into different types—weapon, armor, accessories, gems, and resources—and come in varying rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic. Each rarity level influences the number of skills, gem slots, and stats available on the gear.

Item Types:

• Weapons: Two-Handed Swords, Two-Handed Axes, Bows, Crossbows, Staffs, Magic Swords

• Armor: Helmets (Plate/Leather/Cloth), Chest Plates (Plate/Leather/Cloth), Cloaks

• Accessories: Rings, Trinkets

• Gems: Provide additional bonuses and effects when socketed into gear

• Resources: Materials used for gear repair, gem crafting and skills re-roll

Rarity Levels:

• Common

• Uncommon

• Rare

• Epic

When you clear dungeons of higher levels of difficulty, you have a chance to obtain higher rarity items as drops, adding an element of excitement and reward for taking on tougher challenges.
