Pre-Season is a large Play-to-Airdrop (P2A) campaign, running on a version of the game with monetization and a live in-game economy. It gives players a first look at the future game economy and monetization, and lets you experience the competitive version of the game — with an in-game economy backed by real value.

Pre-Season happens before the official launch of the WYRM token. Future Seasons will fully incorporate WYRM as the main in-game currency.

Key Elements of Pre-Season:

  • Wyrm Tribute: The core of the Pre-Season economy. It creates a fixed real value for in-game Gold and distributes Gold daily based on player performance in dungeons

  • Monetization (all proceeds go into the reward pool):

    • $20 Season Pass unlocks the Wyrm Tribute system

    • Direct purchase of in-game Gold is also available

  • Limited Play Time:

    • Dungeon playtime is limited to 1 hour per day, to maintain competitive balance and support the Wyrm Tribute economy

    • Unlimited time can be spent in the city (trading, dueling, social activities)

    • Additional dungeon playtime can be purchased with Gold, with the price increasing for each additional purchase

  • Social Activities in the City:

    • Duels with tokens at stake

    • Dice games and [REDACTED] mechanics

    • Trading via Auction House

    • Interacting with NPCs to build and perfect your character

  • Guild System:

    • Guild functionality will be active during Pre-Season.

Rewards:

  • Token rewards for dungeon performance, referrals, and guild leaderboards

  • Cash rewards (Wyrm Tribute, funded by players and the team) based on Gold balances at the end of the season

  • NFT and token rewards for smaller leaderboards and achievements
